    CheckFree - The Premier Bill Pay Service Provider

    New CheckFree® Bill Pay is a simple, convenient- and FREE service.  As you know, you need to have a Checking Account and Virtual Branch set up to start paying your bills via a secure website. 

    Pay Anyone:

    You can pay anyone in the United States that you would normally pay by check or automatic debit, even if you do not receive bills from the company or person you want to pay, for example, the neighborhood kid who cuts your lawn.   You will have the ability to request e-bills and have greater flexibility in setting up and scheduling payments. 

    Schedule a Payment and Forget About it:

    You can schedule your payments to occur in the future and rest assured that your payment will be made on time.

    What's faster, greener, and more secure than paper statements?

    Go green go paperless with estatmentsFlip the switch from paper statements to receive electronic eStatements. eStatements allow you to view up to 12 months of statements, save, and print statements while online. No need to store, shred, or worry if your eStatement is lost or stolen in the mail – cutting out the paper trail greatly reduces your chances of becoming a victim of fraud and identity theft. Receiving your account statements electronically (either by email or online) is a MUCH more secure way for our members to keep track of their financial activity and ledger balances. Why? Our website offers this information in an encrypted format – an option your paper statements cannot offer.

    Enroll Today:

    1. Log in to CBI FCU Virtual Branch
    2. Click on “Save a Tree” which will direct you to Statement Express Usage Agreement- read through at the bottom of page click “ACCEPT”.
    3. This should take you to Statement Express where you will see the last 13 months of statement activity.

    To View eStatement:

    1. Log in to CBI FCU Virtual Branch.
    2. Click on “Save a Tree” which will direct you to Statement Express.
    3. Choose the Statement Date account you want to see and click View.
    4. You also have the option to Print.

    Sign up for eStatements and get instant access to your account history, anytime!

    IMPORTANT: You will receive a confirmation email from CBI Federal Credit Union asking you to confirm your enrollment in eStatements. You must click on the link in the email to complete the enrollment process.

    Remote Deposit

    What is Remote Deposit Capture? 

    With Remote Deposit Capture, Skip a Trip to the branch.  With CBI FCU Remote Deposit Capture allows you to electronically deposit checks securely and efficiently from your office.  You can deposit checks remotely, any time that fits in your schedule.  With this new service you can deposit checks to your checking account either using your smartphone or tablet via the CBI FCU Mobile Banking App.  It's easy start by simply by signing, taking photos of the front and back with your phone.  

    Depositing paper checks in-person is so 20th century.  The time has come to Sign, Snap, and Done!

    Let's Get Started! 

    1. Log into CBI FCU mobile app
    2. Tap on "Deposit Checks" at the bottom of the screen
    3. Select which account you want to deposit check into
    4. Type in the exact amount of the check
    5. Endorse the check and write "For Mobile Deposit only" below your signature (if available, check box For Mobile Deposit)
    6. Click Check Front.  Align the check within the box and tap the screen to take the picture. If the picture is clear, click Done. If you need to retake the picture click the trash can icon. 
    7. Click Check Back and repeat the same process to take a picture of the back of the check 
    8. Click Deposit
    9. When the "Success" screen appears, you can deposit another check and proceed to another function within the mobile banking app

    Helpful Tips:

    • Download the CBI FCU Mobile Banking App
    • Make sure the check is endorsed "for mobile deposit only" before taking the photos.
    • Place the check flat on a dark colored surface that's not reflective and is well lit.
    • Make sure you position your check when taking a picture fitting all 4 corners into the photo.
    • Retain the check for at least 60 calendar days from the date of the image.

    Remote Deposits will be processed at the end of each business day.  Deposits will be rejected if not properly endorsed with your signature and noting "for remote deposit only".  There is a daily limit of $2,500.

    * These steps may differ slightly based on your mobile device.  Checks not drawn on U.S. banks and/or not U.S. funds cannot be deposited through Remote Deposit Capture.
